Infantry, Mountain and Field Artillery, ranging from the 15cm schweres Infanteriegeschiitz 33 to the 7.5cm Feldkanone 15 neuer Art.
Heavy Field Artillery, ranging from the 10.5cm schwere Kanone 18 to the 15cm schwere Feldhaubitze series.

Heavy Artillery, amongst whose ranks are weapons ranging in size from the 15cm Kanone 16 to the 35.5cm Haubitze Ml.

Railway Artillery, ranging from the 15cm Kanone (E), through weapons of 20cm, 28cm, 38cm and 40.6cm, to the enormous 80cm Kanone (E) 'Gustav Gerat', also known as 'Dora', which weighed 1350 tonnes and fired a massive shell of 7100kg.

Anti-Aircraft Artillery, including the famous '88' anti-aircraft gun used to great effect as an anti-tank gun during the North African Desert campaigns. This section also includes the German multiple flak mountings; these weapons gave the English language the word 'flak' - from the German abbreviation for 'Fliegerabwehrkanone'.

Anti-Tank Artillery, including the 'taper-bore' guns of Gerlich whose skirted shell was designed to pass through a barrel of ever-decreasing diameter, significantly increasing the muzzle velocity by changing the base area of the projectile in relation to a constant pressure. The weapons range [...]
