Having been in succession a country estate, the Brussels zoo and a bastion of scientific knowledge, Leopold Park has preserved sterling architectural specimens from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. It is now part of a district undergoing rapid change, where Europe is casting an ever longer shadow.
